I have not found a marriage for Absalom SOLMAN, nor baptisms for his children, but the will of Absalom's (half?) brother Henry, proved PCC 1706/7, and various entries in the Loddingford Manor court book show that George and Jane were Absalom's children. However, although it seems likely that the Martha SOLMAN buried in Yalding in 1716 was widow of Absalom, this does not necessarily mean that she was the mother of George and Jane, as she could have been a second or subsequent wife.

Variant spellings of the surname SOLMAN include SOLMON, SOMAN etc.
